What To Expect When You're Expecting...in China

Fuck you, China.

You all know I'm pretty staunchly pro-choice. This, however, isn't choice.

Seriously, fuck you, China.

It truly amazes me what the Chinese government claims the moral authority to do, when they're clearly a bunch of deranged, power-drunk psychopaths.

Yeah, and if some local county government in Lousiana or Kentucky or some other bigot, racist dump you have in the USA watches and applauds the lynching of an Afro-American it is okay to write "fuck you America" ?

You are such an unreflected person, seriously. You believe that believe in the right thing. You believe that you do the right thing, support justice and enlightenment.

But here's an update: no!

By writing "fuck you China", condemning and blaming an entire nation of 1.3 billion people for a single atrocity you are not better than the racist bigots you hate back home in the US.

John, I"m only publishing this because it gives me the opportunity to point out that I did write "fuck you, America" awhile back, in response to several states introducing and some even passing laws aimed at restricting women's hard won rights. So yes, I do believe it's okay to write something like that.

Also, if you've read my blog for any length of time you'd know perfectly well - and I clarified it in the next sentence down - that when I say "fuck you, China" , I am referring to the entity represented by the government, which does not rule by the will of the people...not the people.

Although, to be honest, the Chinese people aren't 100% off the hook for a lot of things (for this, obviously, it was the government's fault alone, though). I wouldn't say this to an entire population, however, for all the individual Chinese person I've met who defends the government's right to do what it's been doing, who actually agrees with bullshit like "that hurts the feelings of the Chinese people", who believes the propaganda they were fed about Taiwan, not to mention Xinjiang and Tibet, Chinese history, foreigners or various other topics: while I wouldn't say "fuck you!" the way I would to a government, I would criticize them and I would believe - openly - that their views are worthy of such criticism.

And I'd say the same thing about American individuals with racist, sexist, homophobic etc. beliefs (or those who justify some of our government's actions, like the invasion of Iraq).

In fact, when I criticize the American government, it's harsher on the American people, when you think about it, because we elected those yahoos in office, whereas the Chinese people did not elect the government of theirs, which I criticize.

So...seriously, GTFO
